Ms. Laura was very special to me. She touched so many lives. She unselfishly helped my clogging career in so many ways. I am so sad to hear that she is gone. I hope she knew how much I appreciate all she did for me.

SUSAN, PAULA, AND ALAN: HAVING LEARNED OF LAURAS' PASSING I WANT TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THAT I AM THINKING OF YOU AND PRAYING THAT YOUR FAMILY WILL FIND PEACE IN YOUR HEARTS THAT LAURA IS SAFE AND WELL WITH YOUR PARENTS AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS. I HAVE BEEN FLOODED WITH MEMORIES OF MOM AND SISSY AND I SPENDING ALL THOSE SUNDAYS AT YOUR HOME WHEN WE WERE ALL VERY YOUNG. I CAN'T REFLECT BACK ON THOSE YOUNG YEARS WITHOUT THINKING OF THOSE VISITS AND SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR WHOLE FAMILY. GOD BLESS. GLENN JOANIS- JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, MOM PASSED AWAY MARCH 29TH.

Glenn, your kind and thoughtful comments are greatly appreciated. Laura’s death was very sudden and a shock to us all. I share the same memories of so many childhood visits between our families, and pictures of us all in matching pajamas on Christmas day. I heard about your mom’s passing, and shared the obituary with Laura. She said she had seen your mom at the grocery store one day. Thank you again for thinking of us. My best to you and Sissy, Susan

My deepest condolences to the family. I grew up with Laura, Susan, Paula, and Alan. Our parents were dear friends. I treasure the memories of all our fun times together. I was thrilled to reconnect with Laura when I walked into her shop . It was great to catch up on where our lives had led us.
My prayers go up for each member of her family.
