Obituary for Willie Clifton Lindsey
Willie Clifton Lindsey, Sr., 96, passed away, Monday, January 10, 2022, at a local personal care home. The family will greet friends from 10:30am-11:00am, Saturday, January 15, 2022, graveside at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery in Macon. Services will follow at 11:00am, with Rev. Len Strozier and Rev. Gary Thomas officiating.
Mr. Lindsey was born August 16, 1925, in Fitzgerald to the late Leon Livingston Lindsey and Vera McVey Lindsey. He was a member of Elam Baptist Church and was a two time Master Mason. Mr. Lindsey was retired from Life of Virginia Insurance Company and was preceded in death by his wife: Bertie Lindsey.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his sons: Dan Lindsey (Kim) and Shelby Lindsey (Missie); grandchildren: Margo Byrne, Rob Lindsey, Aspen Lindsey, Rachel Lindsey, Joshua Lindsey, Megan Lindsey-Huffman and Haley Lindsey Creed.
