Terry Eugene Spivey, of Gregory Drive, died Saturday, October 9th, 2021, at a local hospital. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Terry was born May 2, 1964, in Atlanta and had lived in Gray for the past eight years. He was the son of the late Brenda Johnson Spivey. He proudly served his country in the Air Force of the United States, stationed in Japan and Key West. Terry was a truck driver for Hammock-Wick Trucking, Inc.
He loved to tinker and enjoyed playing games with his family and grandchildren. Ever the movie buff, Mr. Spivey had quite a collection of his favorites. He was well known for his frequent visits to Agave Azul and Dairy Queen in Gray.
Mr. Spivey is survived by his father: Gene Spivey (Carolyn), Carabelle, Florida; common law wife: Barbara NeSmith, Gray; step-sons: Lester NeSmith and Matthew NeSmith; step-daughter: Meggan NeSmith; step-grandchildren: Brandon, Ashleigh, Stephanie, and Tyler NeSmith.
