Obituary for Sherry Fields (Newsome)
Sherry Newsome Fields of Jones County passed away peacefully at Pine Point Hospice on June 3, 2022. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022 1:00 PM at Gray Memorial Chapel 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia with Dr. Greg Thompson officiating. A visitation with the family will follow immediately after the service.
Sherry was born on December 19,1954 to the late Jackie Newsome and Martha Jane Buford Newsome. Preceded in death by one brother David Newsome.
She had the soul of a gypsy who enjoyed her fishing, trips to the beach and spending time with her grand children.
Survivors include: Husband, Brian Fields. Sons: Donnie Jones (Beth), Chris Owen, David Owen (Carla) and Steven Wells. Daughter: Brandy Walden (Shawn). Sister: Maribeth Woodruff, and brother: Neal Newsome,10 grand children and 4 great grand children.
