Sondra, Kayela and family;
We are so sorry to hear of Shauna's passing. Shauna was such a sweet person. We haven't seen her in years, but Brittani always thought the world of her and your whole family. Praying for the family and hoping you find comfort & strength in the days ahead.

Mrs. Sondra, It truly breaks my heart to hear of Shauna's passing. I have many childhood memories spending the night with yall on Stallworth Drive. I can't think of childhood memory without her in it. We would stay up all night singing, dancing and talking on the phone. I am sure we drove you and Duck crazy. We never seemed to bother you two. You always had a welcoming kind smile and heart for us. You all were such a great family to grow up with. I remember that huge Indian 3d project thing you all did for Mrs. Hamm's 4th grade class. I thought it was so impressive. You two put so much work into it. You guys gave her the biggest bedroom and her own bathroom and a cordless phone in her room!! That was so cool. ( I had to share a bath with my sis and the phone hung in the hallway with the 40' crinkled cord. So that was a big deal back then.) I remember Duck in the living room watching his wrestling. The pull out sofa in the living room we slept on, too. Oh, you guys had cable!! All those channels!! (Since I grew up on 3 channels cause we couldn't get cable out in Dry Branch that was a big deal too.) Her huge middle school birthday party in the back yard you guys threw for her. Her cheerleading for Mt. De Sales. I always thought she was so beautiful in her uniform. I think I have a picture of her in it. Gosh, I can go on and on. She was the absolute best of friends a girl could ask for. Again, I am sincerely sorry. She grew into a beautiful lady with a beautiful family of her own. I am sure you are so proud of her. xxx, Angela McConnell (Slagle)
