Obituary for Rolfe Holloman Jr.

Macon: Mr. Rolfe Hunt Holloman Jr. was born on September 29, 1931, in Jones County, Georgia, to the late Rolfe Hunt Holloman Sr. and Lottie Belle Smith Holloman, in the back of the school house where his mother was teaching. He was the middle child of three siblings. He lived most of his life in the Jones County area, leaving in 1948 to join the Navy. He purchased a Harley-Davidson in California and rode it all the way back home to Georgia. He was a Welder and Fabricator by trade, working for many years at the Georgia Steel, retiring for Betz. He was also a Ham Radio Operator. He had a big love for animals, especially his many dogs he had through the years. In 1957, he met Christine Dorothy Jones. They wed on March 1, 1958 and were married for sixty-three years. Rolfe was preceded in death by his eldest son, Jeffery Hunt Holloman, and his older sister, Ann Hunt Odom. Leaving to remember him are his wife: Christine Holloman. Son: Jay Holloman (Rhonda). Daughter: Tina Upton (Bill). Sister: Mary Bragg. Grandchildren: Tristan Holloman (Amberly), Kelby Bellonte (Alex). Great Grandchildren: Zealen and Kastara Bellonte, and several nieces and nephews.
