Obituary for Robert Conrad Reece
Mr. Robert Conrad Reece, age 48, of Flowery Branch passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Emory University, surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022, in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Chaplain Aaron Burgess will officiate. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 3, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Gray with Rev. John Haney and Rev. Aaron Burgess officiating. The family will remain at the church following the services to greet friends.
Mr. Reece was born March 12, 1974, in Gray, Georgia to R.N “Butch” & Linda Avery Reece. A graduate of The University of Georgia, he was an Eagle Scout, an Investigator with the Jones County Sheriff’s Office and member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. Robert was a dedicated husband, devoted father and cherished son. You never met a more avid UGA fan that would give the shirt off his back to help a friend. He loved hosting backyard barbecues, tailgates, traveling and most of all spending time with his children and family. Robert was a one of a kind, dapper southern family man who is irreplaceable. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Reece is survived by his wife of eight years: Crystal Ann Reece of Flowery Branch; children: Emersyn Nicole Reece and Conrad Grey Reece; parents: R.N. “Butch” & Linda Reece of Gray, Georgia; sister & brother-in-law: Kerri & BJ Sweeney of Milton; and nephews: Max Sweeney and Reece Sweeney.
