Obituary for Robert Leonard Moody
Robert Leonard Moody, 81, of Little River Run, North, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at a local hospice facility. Services will be private.
Mr. Moody was born September 23, 1940, in Douglasville and had lived in Eatonton for the past thirty-two years. He was the son of the late Earnest Moody, Sr. and Lillian Moody. He honorably served his country with the United States Navy. Mr. Moody was a former Yard Foreman for Norfolk-Southern at Brosnan Yard and was the co-owner of D.L. Locomotive. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Bassmasters Association. He was preceded in death by a brother: Earnest Moody, Jr.
Mr. Moody is survived by his wife of forty years: DiAnn Moody; children: Clifford Moody, Shane Moody, Reo Moody, Billy Moody, Kyle Moody, Dori Hadaway Pelley and DiAnna Lane Wilson; Twenty-Nine Grandchildren; Ten Great-Grandchildren and a sister: Nina Jo Abercrombie.
