JONES COUNTY: Matthew Walton, 29, of Joycliff Road, passed away, Monday, March 21, 2022, at his residence. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Josh Echols officiating.
Matt was born April 7, 1992, in Macon and had lived in Jones County most of his life. He worked as a hunting guide and loved to hunt, fish and play video games. He was a great dad and will be truly missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his "Maw Maw": Marcia Harper; grandma: Jennifer Holmes and his aunt: Tammy Martin.
Matt is survived by his parents: Christopher and Tina Walton; son: Maverick Kyle Walton; fiance: Ashley Nicole Holmes; brother: Timothy Walton; sister: McKayla Walton and his "Paw Paw:" Terry Harper.
