Obituary for Margie Dawn Loyd (Mixon)
Margie Loyd, 58, of Union Hill Church Road, SW, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at her residence. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm- 3:00pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Gray Memorial Chapel. Memorial services will follow at 3:00pm, in the funeral home chapel.
Mrs. Loyd was born July 17, 1963, in Macon and had lived in Jones County for most of her life. Mrs. Loyd was a former Emergency Medical Technician for Wilkinson County.
Mrs. Loyd is survived by her husband of thirty-three years: Charles Loyd, Jr.; children: Laurie Whitaker (Charles) and Ashton Loyd (Kierstin); grandchildren: Braydyn Whitaker, Cooper Loyd and Madelyn Whitaker; parents: Charles and Lynette Mixon and a sister: Penelope Moye.
