Obituary for Karen Buckner Pippin
JONES COUNTY: Karen Buckner Pippin, 66, of Monticello Highway, died Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, Louisiana. Visitation will be held 4:00pm-6:00pm, Saturday at First Baptist Church of Gray. Services will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Bradley Baptist Church with interment following at Bradley Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Pippin was born October 12, 1954, in Vancouver, Washington and had lived in Jones County since 1974. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Buckner and Maryrae Lott Buckner. Mrs. Pippin was a member of Bradley Baptist Church and was a passionate member of the Peach Blossom Quilter's. She was retired from the Georgia Department of Revenue and was preceded in death by her husband: Asa R. Pippin, Sr.
Mrs. Pippin is survived by her sons: Asa Pippin and Chris Pippin; sister: Terri Winters; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
