Obituary for Julius Bell "Buddy" Irby Jr.
Julius Bell "Buddy" Irby, 73, of Jones Mill Circle, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at his residence. A private memorial service will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the Gray Church of God.
Buddy born April 28. 1949, in Perry, Georgia, retired from C.W. Matthews and served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and gardening as favorite pastimes.
He had a special attachment to his Labrador, "Cutter."
Buddy was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica Mullis and a brother, Edward Irby.
Buddy is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Idell; son, Benjamin (Crystal) Irby; daughters, Amanda Mullis, Janet (Scott) Boggs, and Nichole Joiner; grandchildren, Holly, Kasey, Madison, Colie, Nehemiah, Sophiah, Nataliah and Ceciliah; brother, David Wayne; sister: Sarah Ruth (Kenny), Janet (Shorty) and Nelda; a special friend, Mary Hansford and by several great-grandchildren.
