JONES COUNTY: James Harold " James Earl or Jimmy" Bryant, 82, of Chapman Road, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Pine Pointe Hospice. Services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, March 14, 2021 graveside at Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Haney officiating.

Mr. Bryant was born October 24, 1938, in Bibb county and lived in Jones county his entire life. He was the son of the late Felix Richard Bryant and Ruth Phillips Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a member of Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church . He was retired from Bassett Furniture Company. He was preceded in death by a sister: Lillian Bryant Davis and brothers: Gene Lesley, Bob Bryant and Billy Bryant.

Mr. Bryant is survived by his adoptive family: Steve and Joyce Grimes and their children: Darrell Grimes, Doug Grimes (Shayna), Derek Grimes ( Kimberly) and Denise Steed (Travis) as well as their grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church, 132 Pitts Chapel Road, Macon, Georgia 31217 or to the donor's charity of choice.
