JONES COUNTY: Helen Louise Hardy Kilgore, 100, of Old Clinton Road, died Monday, March 15, 2021, at a local nursing home. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Greenwood Baptist Church. Services will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Kim Washburn and Rev. Ryan Wood officiating. Immediate family only interment will follow at Macon Memorial Park.

Mrs. Kilgore was born May 4, 1920, in Lizella and had lived in the middle Georgia area most of her life. She was the daughter of the late James Hardy and Philemonia Rocquemore Hardy. She was a charter member of Greenwood Baptist Church and was a seamstress, retiring from Lipson's Fabrics. She is predeceased by her husband James S Kilgore.

Mrs. Kilgore is survived by her children: Barbara Kilgore Wood, James Philimon "Phil" Kilgore and William Samuel "Billy" Kilgore; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Greenwood Baptist Church Building Fund, 3400 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032.
