Obituary for Eunice Claudette McNeal (Dukes)
JONES COUNTY: Eunice McNeal, 75, of Jenny Drive, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, March 24, 2021. The family will greet friends from 11:00am to 12:00pm, Saturday, March 27, 2021, at New Haven Baptist Church. Services will follow at 12:00pm at the church with Rev. Dusty Elliott and Rev. Samuel Loyd officiating. Interment will be at New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. McNeal was born June 3, 1945, in Macon and had lived most of her life in middle Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Dozier Mae Meadows and was a retired Nursing Assistant. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church and was avid gardener, finding the beauty in flowers. She was a strong, independent, "firecracker" of a woman and enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. McNeal was preceded in death by her husband: Gerald Eugene McNeal and a sister: Gloria Blount.
Mrs. McNeal is survived by her daughters: Tammy Duckworth, Wendy Elliott, Rayda McNeal and Dorethea Ross; grandchildren: Stacey Barlow, Raymond Wallace, Dusty Elliott, Tiffany Appleton, Brittany Fuller and Walter Elliott, III; fourteen great-grandchildren, sister: Evelyn Brawner and by the father of her children: Raymond Fuller.
