Obituary for Edward Randall "Randy" Mayfield
Chesapeake Virginia: Edward Randall (Randy) Mayfield, died Saturday, October 10th, 2020 peacefully surrounded by his family. Memorial Service will be at held 3:00 pm Thursday, October 15th, 2020 at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032 with Robby Kerr officiating.
Mr. Mayfield was born December 21st, 1957 in Los Angeles, California and had lived in Chesapeake, Virginia for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late Edgar Mayfield. Mr. Mayfield was a MRI Technologist supervisor at Chesapeake Regional Imaging Center.
Randy was a long time member of Great Bridge Baptist Church, and Apostles Lutheran Church, Chesapeake, VA., where he was active in the church choir, youth group, and coached baseball.
Randy is survived by his Mother; Frankie Mayfield, Sons; Chad Mayfield (Jenny), Justin Mayfield (Bianca), and Jordan Mayfield. Sister; Pamela Bolt (Chris), Brother; Eric Mayfield (Jamie). Grandchildren; Conner, Cate, Remington Mayfield.
