Obituary for Charlie Franklin Fountain, Jr.
DALLAS, GEORGIA:Charlie Franklin Fountain, Jr., 74, of Dallas-Acworth Highway, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at a Paulding County area hospital. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm-3:00pm, Monday, January 17, 2022, at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. Graveside services will follow at 3:00pm at the cemetery.
Mr. Fountain was born February 27, 1947, to the late Charlie Franklin Fountain, Sr and Mattie Evalee Barnett Fountain. He was a former structural worker for Lockheed Martin and was a carpenter. He was an accomplished artist and was preceded in death by a brother: Steve Fountain and by a great-niece: Madalee Williams.
Mr. Fountain is survived by his wife of forty years: Cynthia Cook; nephew and niece: Shawn Fountain and Shanna Williams; great-nephews and nieces: Farrah Fountain, Brenden Fountain, Jameson Williams and Charlie Williams.
