JONES COUNTY: Carolyn Avery, 84, of Lite-N-Tie Road, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at a local nursing home. Services will be private.
Mrs. Avery was born December 22, 1936, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Howard Byrd and Ruby Crooms Byrd. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Twiggs County and retired from Kroger. Mrs. Avery was preceded in death by three husbands: Bobby Soles, Leroy Childers and Max Avery.
Mrs. Avery is survived by her children: Kendell Soles and Keith Soles; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a sister: Linda Davis.
