JONES COUNTY: Betty Fay Pittman of 708 Howard Roberts Road, died Friday, May 22nd, 2020 at Navicent Health after a brief illness. Ms. Pittman was born April 9th, 1939 and is a life long resident of Jones County. She retired as an Administrative Medical Assistant for Central State Hospital. After her retirement she was a member of the Homemakers Club H2U and Health 2 You. She was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday evening 6 to 8 P.M. at Gray Memorial and funeral services, Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church at 10 A.M. with Elder William Torrance officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late James and Martha Comer. Preceded in death by Daughters: Agatha Sue Pittman, Michelle Sheila Pittman, and Patricia Pittman Lowman. Brothers: James Comer Jones County, Malcollm Comer Millington TN, Sister: Iona Etheridge Gray, Ga.

Ms. Pittman is survived by her Son: Sidney (Canza) Pittman, Grandson: Jeremy Pittman, Brother Melvin Comer Jones County, Sister: Vivian Brooks Gordon, Ga. and many neices and nephews.
