Obituary for Barbara Albritton (Cox)
Barbara Cox Albritton, 89, of Georgia Highway 18, West, passed away, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at a local hospital. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Friday, January 21, 2022, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with interment at Cedar Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Danny Mundy will officiate.
Mrs. Albritton was born March 23, 1932, in Bartow, Florida and had lived in Jones County for the past thirty-seven years. She was the daughter of the late Comer Cox and Clara Booth Cox. She was retired from Middle Georgia Hospital and was a lover of animals. Mrs. Albritton was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband: George T. Albritton; a son: Glenn T. Albritton and by a grandson: Glenn T. Albritton, II.
Mrs. Albrittion is survived by her daughter: Karen Harris; brother: Jimmie Cox; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and her dear friend: Sandra Christman.
