Arnold Edward "Bubba" Grimes, Jr., 67, of Rock Creek Road, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at his residence. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date by the family.

Mr. Grimes was born June 25, 1954, in Macon and had lived in Jones County for the past twenty-four years. He was the son of the late Arnold Edward Grimes, Sr. and Peggy Minton Grimes. He was a former branch manager for Barloworld Handling and loved to fish and play golf. He was preceded in death by his best friend: Danny Thigpen and by a brother-in-law: Lynn Quick.

Mr. Grimes is survived by his wife and the love of his life for forty-six years: Teresa Grimes; son: Jason Edward Grimes (Mollie); daughter: Jennifer Brown; grandchildren: Nathan Chapman (Helen), Brandon Chapman (Roni), Trevor Grimes, Alicia Brown, Piper Grimes and Harper Grimes; great-grandson: Hanson Chapman; siblings: Linda Quick, Mollie Cameron (Luke) and Wesley Grimes (Rebecca) and by several nieces and nephews.
