Alex Harris, Sr., 83, of Big Oak Road, died Saturday, January 29, 2022, at a local hospital. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm, Sunday, February 6, 2022, graveside at Cedar Ridge Cemetery. Services will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Bill Lender officiating.

Mr. Harris was born August 14, 1938, in Gainesville, Florida and had lived in middle Georgia area for the past sixteen years. He was the son of the late Jessie Allen Harris and Rose Fowler Harris. Mr. Harris worked as an automotive parts technician and was preceded in death by his wife: Nancy Harris; two children: Eva Bailey and Alex Milton Harris and by a grandson: Timothy Smith.

Mr. Harris is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Diana and Charles Bass and Sandra and Ronnie Buckley; sons and daughters-in-law: Allen and Frances Harris and Alex Harris, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and by eight great-great-grandchildren.
